The vision of Eastwood Baptist Church of Bay Minette, AL, is to reproduce followers of Jesus who are LIVING to know Him and to make Him Known, that are LEARNING to be His disciples and to become disciple-makers, and who are LOVING God and loving people because He first loved us. We are striving to make this vision a reality and trust that God may be leading you to join us in this effort.

Know Christ and make Him known

To have life is to know Jesus Christ. He has called us to experience his abundant life, to do life together, and to share this life in Christ with the world around us. We do this best when we come together as the family of God to worship, to study His Word, to encourage one another, and then to go and serve our community with the love of Christ. Worship with us. Learn with us. Serve with us. Take the opportunity to get involved in the family of God at Eastwood!

"Whoever has the Son has life; whoever does not have the Son of God does not have life. I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God that you may know that you have eternal life." (1 John 5:12-13)

"And we know that the Son of God has come and has given us understanding, so that we may know him who is true; and we are in him who is true, in his Son Jesus Christ. He is the true God and eternal life." (1 John 5:20)

Be His disciples and become disciple-makers

Followers of Christ are called to live out the life-giving principles of the Bible, God's Holy Word. Discipleship is the life-long process of learning to live according to God's moral standards. It is also a call to reach out to others and invite them to turn from sin and follow Christ by faith in his death, burial, and resurrection.

"And he said to all, "If anyone would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me. For whoever would save his life will lose it, but whoever loses his life for my sake will save it. For what does it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses or forfeits himself?" (Luke 9:23-25)

"Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:19-20)

Love God  Love others

Because he first loved us

We are called to love God above all and to love others in the same way we want to be loved and to be treated.

"Teacher, which is the great commandment in the Law?" And he said to him, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment. And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself." ( Matthew 22:36-39)

"So we have come to know and to believe the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in him. . . We love because he first loved us." (1 John 4:16, 19)
